Lautech VC receives "HULT PRIZE TEAM" (LAUTECH TEAM) at his office.
WE WANT TO PUT LAUTECH TO THE GLOBAL MAP, SAYS THE VICE CHANCELLOR
Today, the Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology, LAUTECH, received *Hult prize team* at his office and showed his unwavering support for the team. In his impeccable speech, he demonstrated an act of love and lauded the initiative as a brilliant one. Added to this is by ensuring that the team LAUTECH perform creditably well at regional level to stand a chance of representing the school in New York.
The meeting had in attendance the University legal adviser, DSA, My-Self, Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Freedom Siasia, and the campus director of the Hult prize, in person of Nifemi Josua who's also a student of the university.
The total cooperation from the school management was wow and exceptional. Especially the act of readiness instantly demonstrated by the VC in referring our letter to the register and DSA for a quick action.
The Hult prize LAUTECH link will therefore be hosted on the school website any moment from now to encourage large number of students to register and participate in the competition.
With this great opportunity, we are rest assured that team LAUTECH will find her way to New York.
While we thank the school management for this great opportunity and support, we wish to also appreciate the effort of the Alumni president, in person of Chief Babajide Bewaji, for his great role in achieving this feat. We say a very big thank you.
The Hult Prize is the world's largest student competition for social good. Established in 2010 by Bertil Hult, the annual, year-long competition crowd-sources ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food security, water access, energy, and education. The Hult family – founders of EF Education First – donates USD 1 million in seed capital to help the winning team launch a social enterprise. The Prize is a partnership between Hult International Business School and the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). Bill Clinton selects the challenge topic and announces the winner each September.
